Good value, and relatively comfortable. Good parking available.
Lacks a restaurant at night.
Location and low cost. Breakfast good. Staff good.
Air conditioning was kept a bit too warm. I dont like rooms that are not kept as non-smoking.
No taxi will drive you to hotel since it only takes ~10 minute walk from Meitetsu Station. Go to far left exit, "Taiko-dori", of Nagoya station, walk pass Denny's restaurant and make a left turn when you see the Nagoya Business Hotel and you will see the hotel. Denny's open 24 hours -great for value lunch and dinners. No English menu though but can still select order with photos. Loads of great shopping and dining opportunities within the JR underground system connecting to Takashiyama and Meitetsu Department stores. Tourist Info center within the JR station with English volunteers to help out with travelling tips. When asked manager nicely, we managed to burrow hotel's push cart to carry all of my heavy luggages from hotel to Meitetsu station. Of course, we still have to personally return the cart after use. Still it was considerate of him to lend us when the manager did refuse at first. 50yen off for breakfast buffet voucher when bought in advance.
Front desk staff understands and speaks very limited English. If you speak English slowly and use some elementary Japanese, they will try their best to understand and offer their assistance. Room is quite small, especially the bathroom. Not recommended for travellers with more than 2 mid-sized suitcases. Had to stack chairs on top of coffee table to make room for suitecases. Not recommended for long leisure stay. Bathroom floors and walls are yellow which make it appears dirty when it fact it is very clean. Breakfast buffet is a mixture of western and japanese styles. However, I notice for western option is vey limited with coissants, coffee, milk, orange juice and a sunny side up egg. Very limited choices compared to Japanese style which offers rice, miso soup, fishes, and several other side dishes. I've been to other Japan hotel breakfast buffets before and I personally feel the selection at Daiichi Hotel not that delicious and abundant, but then this is a business hotel so it's understandable that the selection is limited compared to 3-5 star hotels.
Good size room and very convenient location to the train station, food and shopping areas. Has a pc with internet in the lounge as well.
Although we requested for a non-smoking room, the room still smell of tobacco.
Perfect location - 5 min walk from Nagoya station, excellent pricing, rooms are significantly larger than normally at Japanese business hotel, free Internet - perfect place to stay.
economic, convenient, good facility
The room was spacious compared to a typical room in Japan. If you are two medium size people, always request for a twin room instead of a double room which only has one double size bed. The twin room has two bed is and has a small alley where you can store even large pieces of luggage. I will definitely stay in this hotel next time, athough breakfast was not included unlike in other hotels where the breakfast is already included.
The bedside of the room was dusty. I think the cleaning lady forgot to have the vacuum cleaner pass through it.
Convenient and very close to Nagoya Station.
location is verygood and valueable
Good location, room was clean and for Japan spacious. In the room a corner with table and chairs to drink or eat something.
nearly with JR station
value for money
the wifi facility that offered in the hotel's website in fact we cannot use it. the hotel staffs was not familiar with notebook (not familiar with english)
Excellent location, nice rooms, service was ok
lobby personnel english skills were not too good
Close to station and simple but enough facilities.
No Wifi and rooms are quite small.
All was perfect except the impossibility to have a WI FI connection or to use a computer connected in the hotel: when you organize your trip day after day, it 's a little bit difficult when you can't use internet for train or hotel reservation for the following day.
